Presumably 1st Thus. lii (Jourdain's introductory essay on Arnauld)+383 (Pascal 343-378)+8 (pub.list) (in fact p.383 - last page of contents table - has been misbound after the pub.list), marbled endpapers; front end-gutter cracked but quite secure, 1948-dated ink sig.top front blank fly, with book-sellers stamp bottom verso, otherwise internally clean, tight & unmarked bar the odd fleck or spot of foxing; covers clean with nice gil-lettered paneled black leather spine but edges and corners all rubbed. Despite cover rubbing this remains an attractive copy of fairly scarce edition of Arnauld's Logique de Port-Royal or 'L'Art de Penser', originally published 1662 (enlarged, 1664).
