Decorative Cloth. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. A very good copy of the hard cover, decorative cloth edition published by Hurst & Co. of New York; no date of publication given (appears to be late 19th century in our estimation). Foxing to endpapers. The text is wholly unmarked, pristine, and the blue cloth binding with gilt-enhanced decorations is solid and still quite bright and fresh in appearance.: minor spotting and wear at the extremities of the front board, with a bit more evident spotting to rear board, with fraying and small slip of the binding missing from the top of the spine. Gilt to page edges of the volume. First three endpages (including the title page) are slightly loose at the base only, i.e., they have come loose at the lowest signature only and reveal this if slightly pulled. Gutters, front and back, are solid: no wobble to the boards. A lovely copy.
