Die vorliegende 2. niederländische Auflage enthält das im Verzeichnis nicht erwähnte Porträt Nieuhofs. Dagegen fehlt, wie in allen drei frühen Auflagen, die auf Seite 193 erwähnte Ansicht von " Paolinxi " ( die an andrer Stelle abgebildete Pagode mit dem Porzellanturm ) Somit ist diese Ausgabe sowohl textlich als auch von den Illustrationen komplett. Leicht beschabter Pergamenteinband der Zeit mit beidseitigem, blind geprägtem Roncaille-Ornament. Buchrücken mit Pergamin kaschiert. Bindung kompakt und ordentlich. Karte und einige Kupferstiche mit sorgsam hinterlegten Randeinrissen und kleinen, ausgebesserten Fehlstellen. Textseiten und Kupferstiche vereinzelt etwas fingerfleckig.
