John Stuart Mill kept a notebook listing all his works published from 1822-1873. This notebook was found in a mixed lot of manuscripts bought at auction in 1935, and has been edited and annotated for publication. The editors have supplied information not noted by Mill, followed by a helpful precís of the works listed. Since much of the material Mill puy in his notebook was not signed, or was written under a pseudonym, this bibliography is able to attribute to him many items of previously unknown origin. Items are in chronological order, not numbered.

None Stated. 1,099 pp in 3 volumes, the books are clean and solid, they have TEG, b/w photos and illustrations, the pages are tight and have light browning, the covers are basically clean and tight, the corners are light scuffed, the spines are somewhat darkened and one of them has 2 1/2" long scratches and another is bumped at the top of the spione, this is a solid and very usable set.
