Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge wear with tears, chips, and some areas of loss. Noticeable rubbing and marking. Light tanning to spine and edges.

Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends. Clipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears, and creasing. Water staining to rear panel with stamp to flap.

Blue cloth covered boards with darker blue titles to the front cover and spine. End-papers printed with chronology of early science discoveries and advances. Condition very good, corners and spine ends rubbed, spine a bit sunned, pages are slightly toned else clean. Numerous illustrations, photos and diagrams, some diagrams printed in colour. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
