Both volumes have half leather binding with four raised bands and gilt lettering to spine over marbled boards. Binding in fair condition with some wear and rubbing with spine a little split on Vol II. Inside both front hinges cracked, Vol I text block has separated from spine but is being held on by back cover. Inside both copies a little intermittent foxing but otherwise all pages clean and bright.
