Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. This is an old classic fiction story book and part of the Little Giant Books called Bubbles, copyright unknown with no date found, hard cover, no dust jacket, written by Mrs. Herbert Sprang. The book has spine taped, bumped corners and edge wear, pages browning due to aging, otherwise in good condition with firm binding, nice illustrations, clean and 77 pages. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Illustrated Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Covers faded, wear to edges, pages quite yellowed, unmarked. No date, probably late 1920s-1930 or so. A "Little Giant Book".

Pictorial Cover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. The covers are edge worn and are heavily rubbed. The head of the spine is worn and frayed, there is a 2 1/2 inch tear from the heel up along the seam to the back cover and a little over a 1/2 inch is missing from the heel of the spine. There is a name of an 8 year old (it staes the age) on the ffe in pencil. The first numbered page is page 7 so I believe a blank page is missing from the front or a half title page. All the pages are present from 7 through 77 and some have pencil marks. Page 39/40 is almost completely loose with the exception of one string and pages 57-60 have short tears along the bottom edge. Al the pages have yellowed. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Slight crushing to spine ends. Wear marks overall.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Not dated, edition and printing not known. In good pictorial boards, with two girls with black horse by a gate to front and red titles and with image of girl to spine with pale titles. The boards are flat and also wobbly with collapsed hollow. The spine, spine edges and the board edges are worn and the front and back have pale marks. The end papers feature tan illustrations from the annual and are lightly marked and warped. The text block is illustrated with black and white drawings; the pages are even, firm and hardly marked. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Hinges and guttering are cracked. Binding is loose. Boards have been moderately rub worn. Noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed Spine ends are crushed, with noticeable splits and chips. Splitting to spine joints and ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

No names, writing or creases. A lovely, sturdy vintage book, especially for its age. None of my books are ex-library, remainders or bce unless specified.

Contents show age discolourisation, many B&W illustrations have been coloured with varying degrees of skill. Many of the colour illustrations lose or damaged. Many lose pages.

Illustrated with black and white drawings. 77 pp. Very good in papercovered boards with a colorful illustration on the front cover, blue spine and back cover (usual toning to pages, some rubbing to covers).
