Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. photos, viii, 149p. Original blue cloth. 22 cm. No jacket (as published?). Inked in neat black calligraphy on front free end paper: "Presented to Admiral Tom Baillie-Grohman as a small token of appreciation for many years' friendship. Signed below in blue ink "Kenneth Michell 7-9-66" Typed two-page obituary for Michell written or delivered by Admiral Baille-Grohman laid in. The admiral also provided a brief Foreword to this book. Michell had a long military career, serving with what seems to have been distinntion. Oddly, we found no copies listed in OCLC. He has a brief chapter (pages 44-53) on his anti-Bolshevik activities after the end of World War I in command of H.M. Monitoe M.33 as part of an unsuccessful effort to rescue Admiral Kolchak at Archangel and up the River Dwina followed by serving as Senior Officer of a flotilla of motor launches patrolling the Danube.
