These are ten individual booklets loosely bound into a hardcover binding with string, measuring 13" x 9.75", respectively. Hardcover is a textured, powder blue cloth. A typed paper label bears the title on the spine. Frontispiece is a majestic, full color portrait of "'Her Majesty The Queen in Her Robes of State' from the painting by F. Winterhalter, graciously lent by Her Majesty specially for 'Sixty Years a Queen'", laid in, with another tissue leaf protectant. Each issue is illustrated in a single color, which varies across booklets. Heavily illustrated throughout with photographs in black and white. Booklets are paginated continuously: Part 1, 1-24 pp. Part 2, 25-46 pp.Part 3, 49-72 pp. (missing pages 47 & 48)Part 4, 72-96 pp.Part 5, 97-120 pp.Part 6, 121-144 pp.Part 7, 145-168 pp.Part 8, 169-192 pp.Part 9, 193-216 pp.Part 10, 217-240 pp. CONDITION: Overall VG. External binding bears general wear and discoloration around the edges. Binding is detaching from issues, yet all are present. Leaves are all present except for pages 47 and 48 in Part 3. Some toning, particularly on each respective cover, but inner pages are bright with very little foxing. Unmarked except for an annotation on the front flyleaf. Illustrations are wonderful.
