Condition: Good. 1883. No edition remarks. 319 pages. No dust jacket. Red crocodile skin patterned, cloth covered boards with gilt. Marbled endpapers and textblock edges. Re-bound. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm, but some gutters repaired with tape. Boards have noticeable shelf wear with rubbing and corner bumping. Moderate tanning and marking.

Un volume (14 x22,5) demi-reliure marron clair, plats marbrés, dos portant indications usuelles en lettres dorées avec 5 caissons soulignés de filets dorés également. L'ouvrage s'ouvre sur une préface (pp.I-VII) intitulée "Un mot au lecteur", écrite par l'auteur Eugène MALDANT (Ingénieur civil) dans laquelle il présente le débat, très courant en cette fin de 19ème siécle, Spiritualisme et Matéralisme. L'ouvrage se temine sur une table des matière de 1 page, dénombrant 15 chapitres.Exemplaire en très bon état.
