Franckfurt & Leipzig, Klossen, 1723. 8vo. In a nice contemporary Cambridge-style binding with four raised bands, richly gilt spine with blindstamped boards. Small paper label pasted on to top of spine indicating the placement in an estate library. Ex-libris (Carl Juel, Danish statesman and owner of Valdemar's Castle) to verso of front board. Light wear to extremities and a few wormholes to spine. An overall fine and clean copy. (14), 860, (1) pp. + frontispiece and 5 plates. The rare first edition of Müller's work on natural philosophy.
