The books are loaded with charts, Tables and historical information about the different countries, rulers, customs, etc. from the beginning of time through 1742. The bindings are full leather - the labels on the spine are still intact and handsome with pronounced Vol. I and Vol. II. The pages are all in excellent condition - the bindings are strong and solid and the paper is strong. The front cover of volume I is mostly detached - the rest of the covers are still firmly attached. These books have survived amazingly well over the last 260 years -.
