First edition. This is the Fourth International Directory of Anthropologists. The las Directory was published in 1950 by the Joint Committee of International Relations in anthropology. In 1960 the USA National Research Council, in response to a call for the updating of the publication established a committee to begin compilations of a new edition. Chaired by Alfred Kidder and Lawrence Krader as editor. the Committee sent out questionnaires and prepared a manuscript which was delayed in publication. In March 1967 the manuscript was turned over t0 Current Anthropology to be published. Condition. Edge wear, corners bumped else very good.
