This insightful autobiography tells the story of the author's upbringing and education under the guidance of his father, a prominent philosopher and economist. The author chronicles his extraordinary intellectual journey, beginning at an early age with intensive study in various subjects, including Greek, Latin, history, and mathematics. The author's father employed unique and rigorous teaching methods that emphasized critical thinking, logic, and a deep understanding of concepts rather than rote memorization. The book delves into the complexities of the author's intellectual development, exploring the themes of self-discovery, the pursuit of knowledge, and the importance of a challenging and stimulating education. Through the author's personal experiences and reflections, this autobiography offers valuable insights into the nature of learning, the power of intellectual inquiry, and the lasting impact of a dedicated and innovative education.
