Paper. Condition: Good. First Edition. Three Original Handwritten and Signed Letters by Pre-Raphaelite Styled Artist John Collier. Dated1909-1915. Three letters about sending his autograph. John Maler Collier 1850 - 1934 was an English painter and writer. He painted in the Pre-Raphaelite style, and was one of the most prominent portrait painters of his generation. Both of his marriages were to daughters of Thomas Henry Huxley. He was educated at Eton College, and he studied painting in Paris with Jean-Paul Laurens and at the Munich Academy starting in 1875. Size is 150 x 98mm and 176mm x 116mm. Condition is good. Light folding crease. Ref17166. Signed by Author(s).
