Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm "Full Dynamics-Frequency Spectrum" (mono) white label "sample" copy of Atlantic 1394, near-mint vinyl in a very-good cardboard jacket (gloss uninterrupted) which was long protected in a slide-on soft plastic cover, despite which jacket verso shows a faint tidemark from dampness along open edge of jacket verso, only, barely reaching edge of jacket notes text. 1841 Broadway address to jacket verso, no address to white "Sample Copy" labels. In original Atlantic paper inner sleeve. Other personnel include Donald Cherry, pocket trumpet, Jimmy Garrison bass, Ed Blackwell drums. "Supervision: Nesuhi Ertegun." All five compositions, to include "Cross Breeding" and "Mapa," by Ornette Coleman. Uncommon, especially in this condition. Reduced from $367. As with all our items priced $90 or higher, this book will be shipped "signature required.".
