Octavo hardcover (VG); all our specials have minimal description to keep listing them viable. They are at least reading copies, complete and in reasonable condition, but usually secondhand; frequently they are superior examples. Ordering more than one book may reduce your overall postage costs.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Pictorial cloth, gilt-stamped lettering on upper board and spine; large 8vo; pp. 320, plus full-color illustrated frontispiece, 26 b/w photo-gravure plates (lovely!), and b/w vignette illustrations in text. Spine somewhat sunned; spine tips and corners a bit chipped and frayed; scratch across rear board; front hinge cracked, but holding just fine. Internally bright and clean. A charming volume.
