Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. Published by Faber and Faber Ltd in 1962, here is the first hardback printing of Ian Gregor and Brian Nicholas' THE MORAL AND THE STORY. Red cloth binding, green spine label. gilt lettering, 275 pages, the book is in good condition with some minor fading to the spine, and a modicum of browning to the end paper. Revered Oxford academic and Hertford College fellow Tony Cockshut has applied a pencil signature of ownership to the front free end paper. Tony has also made a few pencil annotations in the borders and some pencil notes on a blank page at the rear of the book. The dust jacket is fair with some general chipping to the corners and the spine culminating in two small areas of loss and a small tear to the rear along the top edge. All in all a decent offering. Due to the ridiculous perpetual increases in postal rates, additional postage WILL be added to areas OUTSIDE the UK (not that I ever get any European business since a bunch of Sun, Daily Mail, Daily Express and Telegraph reading knuckle-draggers were tricked into foolishly dragging us out of the EU which has, as it turns out impoverished us all in Britain by at least 35% or more) as follows: Europe £4, Rest of the World £7. UK postage is AS QUOTED.
