27X21.5 cm. Original 1/2 leather, backstrip rubbed, chipped and lacking 7 cm. at the bottom. Internally fine. 296 pp., 23 uncolored plates (9 folding). The text lacks pages 249-272, and 3 plates in that range, which do not appear ever to have been bound in. This publication publicizes recent inventions across many applications, from locomotives to a telegraph to a 16-color printing press and much more.
