Yeats, George Gissing, and others; and with numerous illustrations by Aubrey Beardsley, Walter Sickert, William Rothenstein and several other important artists. The Yellow Book is also notable for the inclusion of work by women writers and illustrators, among them George Egerton (Mary Chavelita Dunn), Charlotte Mew, Rosamund Marriott Watson, Ada Leverson, Ethel Reed, Mabel Syrett, and Nellie Syrett.
