    Illustrated Boards. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Mills, Reginald; Waugh, Gwenyth (illustrator). First Edition. There is some light edge wear only to the boards which are otherwise unmarked. Page edges a little browned with some spotting to the top edges. School prize note at the top of the front free endpaper. There is a crease to the top corner of one page but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. Three uncredited monochrome plates including the frontispiece. The front panel of the jacket has a two inch closed tear at the bottom left corner and two small chips out of the top and bottom edges. Chipping to the top corners and at the top of the spine. The rear panel is a little discoloured with small chips to the top and bottom edges and there is a small tear to the edge of the rear flap. The jacket illustration is by Reginald Mills. Interior illustrations by Gwenyth Waugh including a two-tone frontispiece. First printing.
