Seller: My Father's Books, Bennington, VT, U.S.A.
First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Authorized Translation. Printed in the U.S.A. Date from the title page. First Edition, stated. Translator's Preface, Bibliography in Chapter II, Conclusion; ix, [iii], 191 pages. There is just a hint of rubbing to the extremities of the dark green cloth. The paper label remains bright on the upper board; that on the spine is clearly legible, though slightly toned with a superficial crack. [Visible in one of my five images of the actual book.] The interior is fresh, creamy-bright, crisp, and has a decorative initial heading each chapter; it is almost completely clean, as there is only a very small name on the front endpaper. "The translation of this book was undertaken as a labor of love. As the work progressed, the love never diminished though the labor increased beyond all expectation. That the translation was undertaken at all was due to the belief that a small introductory volume, written by the foremost Thomistic student and research scholar of modern times, should be a welcome addition to the growing body of English literature on what has been called the Scholastic Revival of our day."---from the Translator's Preface. As with every book from my father's collection, tipped-in at the front is the small, attractive, acid-free bookplate pictured on my homepage. All books are wrapped with special care and are shipped promptly with tracking; international sales sent via global priority, also with tracking.
