There is some typical edge wear and bumping. An uncommon edition. Illustrated with over three hundred photographs and twelve full colour reproductions of specially commissioned watercolour plates. Despite the fact that this revised edition was published twelve years after the end of the First World War little seems to have changed in these images of the then modern army save for a few smaller armoured vehicles, however it remains a stirring collection of stories of bravery, pomp and ceremony accompanied by lots of illustrations.
