Some spotting to the lower fore-edge of the front and rear board, else a fine copy. He was known for his work with the Doves Press, where he produced books famed for their simple beauty, and for his later association with the Central School for the Arts and Crafts, where he developed standards in the teaching of typography which influenced the training of printers all over England. Included are a biography of Mr. Mason, a bibliographical list of the books produced at the school under his guidance, and resettings of bookwork produced at the school under his direction.
