Jossi Stern who died in 1992 was a prominent Israeli artist based in Jerusalem who has exhibited and published several illustrated books. This title contains Stern's artistic impressions of the 'patriarchs and prophets' who filled the Old Testament as well as more delightfully colourful representations of scenes from the life of modern Israel.
