Cover design by Harold Ernshaw shows a boy riding a motorcycle with a girl in the sidecar. A collection of stories and poems for children by the likes of Harold Avery, S B Owsley, Hawley Morgan, Ethel Talbot, J B Selkirk, M Wynne, Alice Sophia Jackson and Christine Chaundler. Illustrators include George E Studdy, Hawley Morgan, Lawson Wood, Arch Webb, Harold C Earnshaw and Peter Fraser. One of the illustrations by Studdy looks very much like his most famous creation, Bonzo. Scarce.

Pictorial paper covered boards with cloth to the spine with paper on top. Pictures boys and girls and a couple of fairier playing with various toys and dolls, one dressed as Robin Hood, one on the rear cover in a sailor suit. Condition good, corners and edges rubbed, front hinge weak, a few of the black and white line illustrations have been coloured in, gift inscription dated 1920 in pencil to front pastedown else contents clean, no foxing. With a number of short stories, the First story is A Dangerous Game, followed by The Magic Time, Margaret's Little Pig . with fifteen colour plates and many black and white illustrations by Peter Fraser, Blampied, J. Pearson, Mabel Lucie Attwell, M.A. Peart, V.E. Jenkins, Anne Andersen.
