Gift quality landscape format hardcover in mint green paper covered boards with lightly bumped and age-toned periphery. 159pp text is crisp and bright. No names, not exlib, no tears or soil inside. Unclipped dust wrapper has a few small chips and closed tears, and is missing rear flap and 20% of rear panel (which is solid cream), now underlaid w/white paper backing from new mylar and displays well. Rare item. Hackney Champions 1946 - 1957 profusely illustrated with b/w photos of foals, mares and stallions in hand, under saddle and in harness, single - four-in-hand.
