9.25 x 6", orange boards with blue illustration and lettering, 196, [8] pp, local advertisements at beginning and end. A cookbook compiled by members of The Twigs, a "group of organizations working for the benefit of the Ohio Valley Hospital" in Wheeling, West Virginia. The recipes are each attributed, and include ox-tail stew Mexicaine, chop suey (two recipes), chili con carne, Japanese baked bananas, Mexican dulces, Turkish delight, and more. The book is undated, however a helpful former owner has written her name on the front endpaper together with the words "published 1923." Covers discolored due to the presence old paper residue, especially to rear cover. Two small tears to lower margin of title page.
