There is a fold-out map tipped in at the rear - a color Wisconsin map, also showing Congressional districts. Tipped-in double page plates of the Wisconsin Senate and Assembly Chambers, which include the legislator's names. S…ome rubbing, bumping at the corners and spine extremities. Crease in the cloth across the top corner of the rear board. Some rubbed surface soil. Gilt still fairly bright. Front hinge starting. There is a pencilled owners name (Stillwater, Minn), dated 1883 on the front flyleaf; a colored pencil sketch on the verso of the front fly; pencilled notes on the verso of the first blank (looks like a list in preparing for a camping trip); a pencil sketch on page 578 and on the rear flyleaf; and an erasure on the front pastedown. The rear flyleaf is creased. The page edges are a bit age-darkened. Else the pages are clean. The map is quite clean, but there are two closed tears along folds - one ~1/2" and one ~2". ; 27C; 7-1/2" x 5"; 578 pages.
