In an innovative approach John Gilchriese annotated Clum's article, providing the reader with a much more interesting and informative narrative of the events that took place in Tombstone on October 26, 1881. Gilchriese gives the reader sixty-eight informative annotations! Selected in 1966 by the prestigious Rounce & Coffin Club of Los Angeles for it's innovative design it remains, perhaps, Gilchriese's most important contribution, among many, to the Tombstone field of study.
