Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book explores the life and work of 16th-century German goldsmith and scholar, Simon Ottmair. Ottmair was an eccentric yet brilliant man, who became obsessed with magic and the occult. He sought the companionship of the notorious Dr. Faustus, and together they delved into the world of alchemy, astrology, and necromancy. The book delves into the historical context of the period, and how Ottmair's magical pursuits reflected the intellectual and spiritual currents of his time. It analyzes the complex relationship between Ottmair and Faustus, and explores the themes of ambition, obsession, and the limits of human knowledge. Through Ottmair's experiences, the book sheds light on the ongoing human fascination with the unknown, the allure of the supernatural, and the enduring quest for knowledge beyond the boundaries of the mundane. Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book is a remarkable exploration of the complex relationship between divinity, humanity, and the supernatural. Set in ancient times, it delves into the conflicts between rival kingdoms and the struggles of individuals torn between their own desires and the expectations of their society. The author explores the nature of good and evil, the limits of power, and the search for meaning in a world where both the divine and the demonic are present. Through vivid imagery and thought-provoking dialogue, the book challenges conventional notions of morality and the boundaries of human understanding. The insights it offers on the nature of existence, the power of belief, and the consequences of our actions resonate deeply, making this a rich and thought-provoking read that will captivate students of myth, religion, and the human experience. Buch. Condition: Neu.
