Original publisher's sky blue boards with a gil circle on front and no letterin. in . in light pink firm card slip-case. 1000 copies printed on Scheufelen Phoenix Motion Xantur paper in Verona,interestingly Sharon Tate spent part of her childhood in Verona. This is one of only 50 copies signed by the author of the essay Richard Howard. In Big Sur, in 1964, Walter Chappell shot a series of photographs of Sharon Tate at Big Sur (commissioned by her) unseen until 2001 American photographer and poet Walter Chappell (1925-2000) studied under Minor White and was one of the leaders of American monochrome photography along with Alfred Stieglitz and Edward Weston. For a time, he was also a curator at the prestigious George Eastman House, and had a close relationship with White's Aperture. Photographs of the legendary actress Sharon Tate was tragically murdered in 1969. Signedes.
