Splatter and drop marks on exterior, 1/32 inch chipping at foot of spine, a few approximately 1/16th inch nicks along it. Internally, some irregular tanning on a few adjoining leaves, apparently from a vanished laid-in botanical specimen, bit of foxing, lower corner of one leaf creased, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked and apparently never read.
