However, NONE of the other listed plates are present in either volume. It would appear that these volumes were printed without the plates being bound in (i.e. the plates have not been removed, they were never present). A few marginal pencil marks mainly in volume one. Original blue gilt cloth with top edge gilt and the others uncut. Engraved frontis of Burne Jones, partner of the great William Morris and the Kelmscott Press. A famous Pre Raphaelite artist who lived from 1833 to 1898 spine slightly faded, dusty, but a tight set, textblock is excellent and very clean, includes photo gravures and fine engravings. Superb.
