The book concentrates solely on the Daytona Coupes which made up the final chapter of the Cobra saga in the 1960s. These were the cars which, with the help of Alan Mann Racing, brought the first World Championship won by an American car to Carroll Shelby and the USA. The book is in very good condition.The dust jacket has some minor wrinkles in the protective laminate on the rear of the dust jacket which is otherwise in very good condition [see photographs]. Were it not for the library marks, this would be close to Very Good), with crinkly clear cover on DJ, DJ flaps taped to the book, reinforced hinges, library pocket at the front, library rubberstamp on title page. That said, one could remove the crinkly clear cover & the library pocket quite easily, leaving only shelf label and library bar code stickers on the DJ. Binding tight, interior clean.
