Paperback. Condition: Very Good. The Subversive Manifesto shows how Christians can formulate Bible-based political views and how Bible teaching should change the way power is used, societies are run, economies are structured, and legal systems are organised. The author urges everybody to get involved politically in some way, whether at national or local level. Examples are drawn from his own experience of working in the corridors of power. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.

Published by Jonathan Bartley Crucible Company
Seller: Riverby Books, Fredericksburg, VA, U.S.A.
Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. "The Guaranteed Reports herewith contain facts derived from practical operating experience on Boiler Settings, Elec. Melting Furnaces, etc. " A detailed trade publication describing the use of Jonathan Bartley Crucible Company s materials in Lawtonite refractories. Softcover, 48 pages. With a saddle-stapled binding and tan paper wraps. Featuring black & white illustrations throughout. Very good condition. The wraps show some marks from handling and rubbing, as well as toning along the edges. Lightly bumped corners. Pages are clean and unmarked. The staples of the binding are a bit rusted, which shows at the center gutter of the volume. Strong, sturdy binding with no loose pages. No date of publication stated, but the year 1925 is repeated many times throughout the volume. Since no later year is mentioned, I expect that the volume was published very near to that date. Contains letters and reports from various companies, each describing the benefits and successes of Lawtonite refractory materials. Contains lists of costs and savings, summaries of results, illustrations of blocks and furnaces, etc.

Seller: Riverby Books, Fredericksburg, VA, U.S.A.
Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Softcover trade publication, bound in brown paper wraps with brown lettering on the front cover. Very good condition. Saddle-stapled binding. 48 pages. Illustrated throughout in black & white. Contents include testimonials from customers, the findings of various commissions and studies regarding savings, and guarantees by the company. No publication date is stated. Testimonials and studies printed in the volume are dated 1920-1926, so I would guess that this volume is printed sometime in the late 1920s. For RM is written in pencil on the front cover. Also on the front cover & above the name of the company, there is a rubber stamp that reads Bartley Crucible & Refractories Company, Formerly. No other writing to the wraps or text. The corners are bumped and have curled upwards a bit, and the wraps show some scuff marks and edge wear from handling. Pages are clean and unmarked, though lightly toned from aging. Strong, sturdy binding.
