Unknown. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" A rare Autograph Letter Signed from author Lester Atwell, 2 pages on a single 8vo leaf, April 22, 1981, discussing his novel 'Life with Its Sorrow, Life with Its Tear', and the attitude of one of his sons about it, etc. Quite charming content. Atwell had apparently given away all his copies of the novel, and is thanking the recipient for sending one along as a gift. Atwell goes on 'I mentioned the three boys in my family. One of them, a Junior in college, said to me out of the blue the other day 'How long is that book you wrote about the family?' I said 'three hundred and some off pages'. He look alarmeed and said 'I don't think I could handle it'. But maybe someday he will, and he, too, will have you to thank.
