Not a book but a white-label, 'Promotion - Not For Sale' vinyl soundtrack LP, Warner Bros 1656, in "Vitaphonic High Fidelity" (mono), near-mint vinyl in a near-mint cardboard jacket. The 1966 Warner Brothers film, from the stage play by Edward Albee, starred Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, George Segal and Sandy Dennis. Reduced from $14.

Not a book but a 10-inch, 33-1/3 rpm long-playing (mono) vinyl record, near mint vinyl in a very-good-plus cardboard jacket, Capitol Records L289, conducted by Ray Heindorf. The Warner Bros. picture, directed by Elia Kazan, starred Vivien Leigh and Marlon Brando (billed in that order); screenplay by Tennessee Williams. This record catalogs $50, now reduced from $22.

Fine in a very good cardboard sleeve with toning, rubbing, two small sticker shadows on the back cover, and bumping to the corners. DL 8885. Sound track for the 1959 film adaptation of Faulkner's famous novel of the same name, directed by Martin Ritt and starring Yul Brynner, Joanne Woodward, Margaret Leighton, and Stuart Whitman.

Some light wear from play, else near fine in a very good cardboard sleeve with rubbing and bumping to the corners, with a stamp on the back cover that reads, "Approved C.O." R - 25026. Original sound track for the 1958 American film directed by Martin Ritt, and starring Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Anthony Franciosa, Orson Welles, Lee Remick, and Angela Lansbury. A Southern Gothic story filmed in Louisiana, in CinemaScope color and based on three works by William Faulkner: the 1931 novella "Spotted Horses", the 1939 short story "Barn Burning" and the 1940 novel *The Hamlet.* During filming, Ritt succeeded at getting a temperamental Welles to cooperate on set, earning him the nickname "the Orson Tamer". Newman won the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival.
