Textblock ONLY; appears to have been bound, with new floral endpapers, but boards and spine are gone, otherwise complete. Approximately 4 1/2 x 6 7/8 inches, 332 pp, illustrated with black and white drawings by Albert Boutle. School rubber stamp on half title page and title page (Villa Maria Academy, New York) , an approximately 1 1/2 x 4 x4 inch piece of paper torn off lower inside corner of the two free rear endpapers, 1/2 inch chip off upper corner of first free front endpaper, upper corners of first half dozen or so leaves creased, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked. In French (en francais). Humor; modern first.
