Le pagine sono VIII-455-(1) con una bella xilografia all'antiporta firmata da Johannes Stridbeck (qui Striedbeck). Un ritratto di Esopo è a pagina VIII con didascalia in francese, lo stesso è riportato in chiusura del libro con didascalia in tedesco. Stampa del frontis bicolore rosso-nero; testo in francese e a fronte in tedesco. Carte chiare, fresche, fruscianti. Timbro di possesso al frontespizio. Piccoli danni alla pelle della legatura, il capitello superiore è abraso. Forellino di tarlo passante per l'intera opera. Altro per le pagine finali. Buono.

False imprint of date "1558" on title-page, work was published in 1758. Title-page printed in red and black. Rare 1758 edition of Aesop's fables with 'moral reflections' and notes by ancient philosophers such as Plato, Seneca, Epictet, and Pythagoras.
