Condition: Good. 1899. This Edition. 347 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Contains black and white plates throughout. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Hard Cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. The covers have moderate wear and light soiling, soiling to the pages and there is a piece cut from a newspaper with the authors obituary and it was pinned to the front end paper and the former owner wrote some about the author in pencil on the bottom of the page and their name at the top of the page in pencil. The newspaper cut out left a brown spot on the pastedown and end paper. There is some scattered light soiling in the book. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has light tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.
