Hardcover. Second impression. 298 pgs., 8vo. A early-20th century appraisal of the author, in plain black cloth, no d,j. present. Slightly toned paper, and bookplate of past owner, an author and American anglophile. She added a nice Wutherimg Heights bookmark, which comes to the purchaser gratis with the book. The paper is mildly age-toned, and a few pages show edge-spotting from some 'inherent vice', as we tend to call poor paper-making from abroad. Good used condition, no dust wrapper.
