DUST JACKET: Yes, priced 2.75 on the inside front flap. Small chip out of the upper spine end and a large piece missing from the lower right front corner of the jacket. BOOK CONDITION: The book is in very good condition with clean covers with bright lettering. The binding is tight and the interior is clean and unmarked. There is a typed sheet glued to the first free end paper describing the book, it's publication date and followed by excerpts from reviews. DESCRIPTION: Inscribed on the first free end paper "To my friends Margaret and Al H--- from (signed) W. Wyeth Willard December 25, 1965 followed by a drawing of a cross with the compass points and underneath that is New Good News John 3:16." Steeple jim painted the Colgate Clock, largest in the world and the only man to ever paint it, he also worked on flag poles at the Colgate Co, Yale, Tammany hall and other. He was a hard drinking and fighting man, once called "America's Most Notorious Drunkard ", inebriated for over 30 years and arrested over 500 times for drunkeness.
