Soft cover. Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. A left-stapled transcript measuring 5-3/4" by 8-1/2" and containing 24 pages including front and rear covers. The transcript number, in order of telecast, was compiled and maintained by SECA commencing with the program's move to the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in 1971 although the number does not appear in the issue. This is the transcript of the Firing Line program taped in New York City on June 1, 1972, and originally telecast on PBS on June 11, 1972. Hosted by William F. Buckley, Jr., the topic was "Does Subversion Work?"; the guests were Alan Barth, former chief editorial writer for The Washington Post, and author Laurence Beilenson; the panelists, all from Columbia University, were: Professor J.C. Hurewitz, director, Middle East Institute; Professor Charles Issawi, Ragnar Nurkse professor of economics; and Dr. Arnold Horelick, Russian Institute. Mailing label to rear cover.
