Hardback. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. First Edition. STATED FIRST EDITION, 1948 E.P. Dutton. Hardback book with dust jacket. The jacket is NOT price-clipped but has lots of creasing on the front of the jacket and some chips/tears. There is a large 4 1/2" x 1" chip on the back of the jacket. I've added a clear mylar cover and it looks much better. The book is sturdy, clean and complete with some age-toning and a little wear to the corners (and spine ends crushed). NO WRITING, but there are a few fingermarks. There is a slim 4" paper glued to the back endpaper.it might be a library discard but I couldn't find any library stamps.
