Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Plates are bright and clear. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Spine and both boards heavily sunned and foxed. Spine label ripped.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. This vintage (1932) book is a celebration of dogs. It begins with a 12 page Introduction by Manfred Georg followed by 48 B&W images of various dog breeds by Hedda Walther. The pages are clean and crisp but tanned and foxing from age. Several pages have some wear too. The dust Jacket is missing. The boards are red cloth with paper labels on the front cover and spine. The front board has a prominent diagonal stain patch on the bottom left corner. There is edge-wear and fraying, particularly on the spine. The binding remains tight. Overall a solid reading copy.
