Oatmeal cloth boards with blue lettering on spine, blue compass illustration on front board. Page dimensions: 184 x 12mm. This is an account of Voss's intrepid journey around the world in the canoe Tilikum. The Tilikum was a canoe with sails built according to a Canadian Indian design. The hull was carved from a single log of cedar. This edition with a 6 page Introduction by Richard Hughes, dated 1949. Series: The Mariners Library, #3.

Einband etwas gebrauchsspurig und leicht beschmutzt. Besitzerstempel im Vorsatz, vorne. Besitzereintrag auf dem Titel. Innen mit der papierbedingten Bräunung. Bindung gelegentlich etwas gelockert. Alle Abbildungen sind vorhanden. Die Klappkarte im Anhang ist heil allerdings rückseitig etwas gebräunt. Trotz dieser genannten Mängel in einem durchaus noch recht ordentlichen Erhaltungszustand. Binding somewhat worn and slightly soiled. Owner's stamp on endpaper, front. Owner's inscription on title. Inside with browning due to paper. Binding occasionally somewhat loosened. All illustrations present. The folding map in the appendix is intact but somewhat browned on the back. In spite of these mentioned defects still in a quite decent state of preservation.
