Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Vlaminck (illustrator). 1st Edition. "L'ART ET LA VIE (Art and Life) VLAMINCK" Book includes 5 photographs and 10 illustrations of paintings in color. Original glassine dust-jacket with most of the spine area chipped away as is common since the glassine DJ's are pretty fragile. Maurice de Vlaminck was born in April 1876 and died in October 1958. Many pages uncut (So most likely unread). Minor chipping to spine bottom. A few words in French written on the glassine DJ top (Possibly (Not authenticated) in the hand of Vlaminck). My grandfather had an art gallery in D.C. in the late 30's and most likely knew Vlaminck as he also had an oil painting by Vlaminck exhibited/for sale in his gallery.
