First Edition
Pamphlet. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. 104 pages; Publisher's color pictorial wrappers. Minor wear, and a tiny stamp (in the red field of the image: "L.C. Duplicate / Exchange Permitted." Halftone frontispiece and b/w text illustrations throughout. The vivid cover illustration is quite poster-like; although it is unsigned, it is most likely the work of George E. Smith, credited on the title page as "Art Director." A scarce and significant tract in the American disarmament and pacifism movement, with great graphic interest. ; Experience the pleasure of reading and appreciating this actual printed item. It has its own physical history that imbues it with a character lacking in ephemeral electronic renderings.

Book First Edition
Pamphlet. Condition: Good. First Edition. A good+ copy of this rare 8-page pamphlet. The prefatory note to the memorandum proper states, in part: "The following memorandum was submitted to the meeting of the National Peace Conference held in New York City on October 3rd [1938[, by the Director, Walter W. Van Kirk, who was instructed to send the memorandum to the members of the Conference for their study and action." This copy is frayed extensively at the extremities, with several corners minorly bent and with several intact tears. It is creased along the upper quarter, as from previous folding to fit in an envelope. The text is wholly unmarked. All in all a lovely copy.
