Book
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good Minus. Dessins Originaux de Blass, Moloch, Tiret-Bognet (illustrator). In French. 'Reproduction de Cent trente Caricatures.' I don't see a copyright date. There is a letter by the author that runs from page 7 to page 12 and it is dated 'Novembre 1891.' I presume without knowing for certain that the book was published in 1892. You can see the covers in the photos. They're in very nice shape. The spine is red. The gilt lettering on the spine is quite bright. There's a little bit of crinkling at the spine ends. The covers edges are the same color as the front and rear covers. There are a couple of spots on the top edges that have rubbing and a number on the bottom edges as well. The rubbing is smooth. The page edges are clean. The title page has a thin strip of beige repairing material at its juncture with the blank verso of the first front end the paper. That's also the case between pages 16 and 17 and between the illustrated rear end paper and the facing page of text, page 336, which is the last page of the book. I didn't see any other strips between any of the other pages. In fact, the pages are very solidly and even nicely tightly bound. The covers are also tightly bound and there are no cracks or spaces between them and their facing end papers. The interior of the book is in very nice condition. The pages are exceptionally clean. I'm scrolling through without finding any soiling. I'm also not seeing any creasing. There are no markings. There are no attachments. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. There are a great many illustrations. They all appear to be in excellent condition.
